The Editorial Management Team of the Journal of Financial and Monetary Studies (JFMS), published by the Banking Institute of the Bank of the Lao PDR, is pleased to announce that submissions are now officially open for our upcoming second issue (Vol. 1, No. 2).

Following our successful inaugural release, JFMS continues its mission of "Advancing Knowledge, Informing Policy, and Shaping Financial Futures." • Pillar 3: Safe and Modern Payment Systems (Digital currencies/CBDCs, FinTech regulation, payment infrastructures)

  • Pillar 4: Capital Markets and Securities (Securities oversight, bond markets, sustainable/ESG finance)

  • Pillar 5: AML/CFT and Financial Integrity (Compliance frameworks, virtual asset regulation, RegTech/SupTech solutions)

To ensure the highest academic integrity and transparency, JFMS enforces a strict Double-Blind Peer Review process governed by our Editorial Governance Model.

  • Format: Manuscripts must follow the official JFMS Author Guidelines (available on our portal).

  • Anonymization: Authors must ensure that all personal identifiers, names, and institutional affiliations are removed from the main manuscript file before uploading.
